Why would we not support film piracy???

...when Australian distributors are so horribly SLOW in releasing great films. If they came out here around the same time as that in the U.S. I am certain there would be more chance people would pay money to see them on the big screen. But as it is we have to wait weeks, even months for exciting new films such as Gran Torino, Changeling, The Wrestler, Doubt, and Synecdoche New York (which does not even have a release date at all yet). Last year it was Gone Baby Gone, The Savages, Stop-Loss, and Before the Devil Knows You're Dead. And yes I watched all of these films (some twice) on my computer before it was even released onto an Australian screen.


I blame you Australian theatrical distributors!!!

And what the heck does Australia have with Philip Seymour Hoffman? Release his films already!
